Wilbur Ray Simmons Obituary

Bolton: Wilbur Ray Simmons, 86 of Bolton died Thursday April 18, 2019 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center in Whiteville, N.C. He was the son of the late John Henry Simmons and Lizzie Wilkins Simmons . and was preceded in death by his wife, Janie McKeithan Simmons, Son, John Samuel Simmons and a Brother, Dawson Simmons. He worked with Federal Paper as a Heavy Equiptment Operator for over 30 years.

Survivors include his daughters, Jeannie Carter of Wilmington, N.C. and ,Judy Ann Simmons of Bolton, N.C. , 3 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday , April 24, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Camp Branch Baptist Church with burial following in the Delco Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday night at McKenzie Mortuary from 6-8 p.m.
