Wanda Faye Dowless Batten

Clarkton:  Wanda Faye   Dowless Batten , 65 of Clarkton died Sunday, May 20,2018.  She was the daughter of Doris Batten Dowless and the late Richard Wesley Dowless.  She attended White Marsh Baptist Church .She was also a Farmer.

Survivors include her husband; Jerry Wayne Batten of Clarkton, N.C., two daughters, Hope Lynn Batten of Melfa, Va. and Ginger Yvonne (Arleigh) Lacefield  of Chesapeake, Va. Brother , Jerry A. (Nancy) Dowless of Macon, N.C.   Mother,  Doris Batten Dowless of Whiteville, N.C., Grandchildren,  Xzavier Lacefield, Sophia Lacefield and  Josie Lacefield.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, May 26,2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Coy Long officiating with burial following in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the church from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.

Memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church @ 9512 Red Hill Rd. Whiteville, N.C. or  White Marsh Baptist Church.
