Obituary
Thomas Michael Wrigley, age 78, of Whiteville, NC, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, August 5, 2023. Thomas was born in Philadelphia, PA on April 27, 1945 to the late Elwood Wrigley and Marguerite McAuliffe Wrigley. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
Thomas served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He then served in the National Guard for several years. After serving in the military, he worked as a truck driver. He was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan. Thomas was a life long participant in the Mummers Parade and a member of the string band.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife; Leslie Karen W. Wrigley of Whiteville, NC, a loving step-daughter; Teasha Wiley of Whiteville, NC, three sisters; JoAnn Wrigley of Westville, NJ, Ginny Yuhas of Bellmawr, NJ and Anne Palcko of Ft. Meyers, FL and a brother; Michael Wrigley of Glouster, NJ. He is also deeply loved and will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Arrangements are being held privately for family.
McKenzie Mortuary, 112 Jefferson St., Whiteville, NC is serving the Wrigley family.
