Ruthene Sellers Barnhill

Ruthene Sellers Barnhill, age 85, of Whiteville, NC, died Monday, November 23, 2020 at Liberty Commons, Whiteville, NC. She was born in Columbus County on October 30, 1935 to the late Rufus Sellers and Callie Brigman Sellers.  In addition to her parents she is predeceased by a daughter; Tammy Wadsworth, two brothers; Oakie Sellers and Alonzo Sellers, and two sisters; Christine Hill and Kaywood Soles.

She was a homemaker and a member of White Marsh Baptist Church.

Ruthene is survived by four daughters; Debra Anderson and Melinda Williamson both of Whiteville, NC, Cathy Blake of Surf City, NC, and Pamela Jackson of Bladenboro, NC, one son; Ricky Bullard of Hampstead, NC, two sisters; Sylvia Whitehead of Cerro Gordo, NC  and Joyce Warwick of Whiteville, NC, one brother; Dale Sellers of Whiteville, NC, 11 Grandchildren and 15 Great-Grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at 2:30 pm at Whiteville Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Ray Yow officiating.
