Ronald Sutton White

Ronald Sutton White, 71, of Whiteville, NC, passed away on January 16, 2023 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. He was born in Columbus County on April 29, 1951 to Edward Lennon White and Barbara Sutton White. In addition to his parents, Ronald was predeceased by his wife, Lana White.

Ronald was retired from the Auto Sales Industry. He always had a project going on, whether it was building, fishing or going to yard sales. He served his country in the United States Army National Guard.

Ronald is survived by a son; Wesley White (Kimberly) of Whiteville, NC, a daughter; Valerie McLean (Lance) of Alexandria, VA. brother; Ed White (Jeanie) of Whiteville, NC, sisters; Kay Ward (Hal) and Beverly Powell (Randy) of Whiteville, NC. Grandchildren; Everett White, Elle White, Tripp White, Elliott McLean and, Tavish McLean

A funeral service will be held at New Hope Baptist Church, 252 Rough and Ready Rd, Whiteville, NC on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at 11am with Dr. Darrin Moore officiating. Visitation will be held at McKenzie Mortuary on Wednesday,  January 18, 2023 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
