Robert Otis Gurkin

Clarkton: Robert Otis Gurkin , 65 of Clarkton died Friday,  May 31,2019. He was the son of the late Earl Brown Gurkin, Sr. and Alice Carolyn Edwards Gurkin and was preceded in death by his brother, Earl Brown Gurkin, Jr. He worked in  Forestry Management. He was a member of Western Prong Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife: Lisa Douglas Gurkin of the home. Step-Sons; Curtiss Wilkinson and Nicholas Wilkinson, both of Wilmington, N.C., Sisters; Carol Spradley of Leland, N.C. and Jean Creech of Clarkton, N.C., Several Nieces and Nephews.

A Memorial Service will be Saturday, June 8 ,2019 at Lake Waccamaw United Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m.  Visitation will be Friday night at McKenzie Mortuary  from 6-8 p.m.
