Mrs.Nellie Moore daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Earnest Watson born on April 30, 1942 in Brunswick, North Carolina. She transitioned this life Monday February 24, 2020 at her home.
She attended Brunswick County Public Schools and was a graduate of Brunswick High School (Class of 1960) in Brunswick, NC. IN 1961, she attended Millermont Technical College where she received her Associates Degree in Accounting & Billing.
At an early age, she accepted Christ as he Lord and Savior, where she attended both New Hope Baptist & Mount Sinai Holiness Church.
She was an active, loving grandmother. She spent most of her free time supporting her grandchildren & great-grandchildren’s extracurricular activities.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Earnest Watson; one son Boyd Moore Jr.; her 3 brothers Elmore Watson, Earl Watson, & Bobby Ray Watson; One sister Beulah King; Two brother -in- laws Calvin Sterling, & Genora Moore.
She leaves to her loving memories: her husband, Boyd Moore of Bolton, NC; Two Children: Sabrina Moore (Ronald) of Sumter, SC. & Joseph Moore of Bolton, NC. Two Children reared as her own Neveah & Trenton Moore of Bolton, NC. Two siblings: Ella Mae Sterling of Sanford, NC. & Billy Boy (Agnus May) of Leland, NC. Four Grandchildren: Joey Moore (Wendy) of Bolton, NC., Patsy Moore (Akeem) of Sumter, SC, Brittany Johnson (Michael) of Riegelwood, NC., & Whitney Belton (Charles) of Bishopville, SC.; Nine Great-Grandchildren: Korday Butler, Koreonna Butler, Shayonna Johnson, Serenity Johnson, Ansley Johnson, Kenyon Johnson, Kaydon Johnson, London Johnson, & Angel Moore.
Funeral Service will be Thursday, February 27,2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Sinai Holiness Church with Rev. Christopher Webb and Rev. Mike Jacobs officiating with burial following in the New Hope Church Cemetery, Bolton, N.C. Visitation will be at the church from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.
