Obituary
Macie Duncan King, 93, of Whiteville, NC passed away on May 8, 2023 at Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehab in Whiteville, NC. Macie was born on March 2, 1930 in Robeson County to William Albert Duncan, Sr., and Sallie Little Duncan. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Graham King, brothers and sisters, Margaret D. Davis, James Duncan, Sadie D. Penny, William “Bill” Albert Duncan, Jr., Bonnie D. Bryant, Marcella D. Ward, Robert “Bob” Lennon Duncan.
Macie worked as a Registered Nurse.
Macie is survived by her sister, Shirley McCleney (Hubert) of Chadbourn, NC, Special Niece, Elaine White as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 11:00 am at McKenzie Mortuary Chapel, 112 Jefferson St., Whiteville, NC. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 10:00 am. Burial will be at Lafayette Memorial Cemetery in Fayetteville, NC. Rev. Joe Hinson will officiate the service.
