Obituary
Linda Diane Malpass, age 72, of Delco, NC, passed away at her residence on Monday, August 7, 2023. Linda was born in New Hanover County on December 26, 1950 to the late Elton C. Malpass Sr and Flossie Mae Miller Malpass. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers; Elton C. Malpass, Jr. and Eddie Ray Malpass, and one sister; Terri Lynn Malpass Stephens.
Left to cherish her memory are her two sons; Bobby Ray Ellis, Jr of Whiteville and Timothy K. Ellis (Roxann) of Delco, one sister; Debbie M. Bracey (Freddy) also of Delco, grandchildren; Tiffany E. Knight (Aaron), Summer G. Ellis, Carey R. Ellis (Jordan), Timothy J. Ellis (Cassidy), Hanna G. Ellis, Trey M. Ellis, great grandchildren; Charleston Ellis, Kyndal Ellis and Caison Ellis.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, August 10, 2023, in the Cheerful Hope Baptist Church Cemetery at 3:00 pm with Rev. Calvin Malpass officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at McKenzie Mortuary from 6:00 - 8:00 pm and other times at the home of Debbie and Freddy Bracey, 380 Lennon Rd., Delco, NC.
