Leonard Bailey White

Leonard Bailey White, age 88, of Bolivia, NC died Monday, October 18, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Columbus County on May 9, 1933 to the late Bailey White and Delilah Tart White. In addition to his parents, Mr. White was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Johnson “Bob” White, sister, Joan Critcher and a grandson, Samuel Hart White.

Mr. White is survived by his wife Sara Autry White of Bolivia, NC, daughter; Terri Lynn Batten of Whiteville, NC, sons; Ronald Erwin White (Patty) of Wilmington, NC, Robert Denning White (Amy) of Whiteville, NC, Perry Randal White (Tanya) of Whiteville, NC, a sister; Minnie Alice Kerr (John) of Maryland, a half-sister; Wanda Gore of Clarkton, 10 Grandchildren and 13 Great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday October 21, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Western Prong Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ronnie Wilson. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM at the graveside.

Services are entrusted to McKenzie Mortuary, 112 Jefferson St., Whiteville, NC.
