Kaydance Nichole "KK" Sikes

Kaydance Nicole "KK" Sikes, age 9, of Chadbourn, NC, passed away at her residence on Sunday, March 6, 2022.  Kaydance was born on September 20, 2012 in Whiteville, to Brandy Sikes and the late Steven Duncan.  In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her Grandmother, Lisa Sikes, Grandfather; Charles Edwin Sikes, Great Grandfathers; Jerry Byrd and  Charles Eli Sikes.

Kaydance was known as "KK" by her family and many friends.  She was a student in the 4th grade at Chadbourn Elementary School.

Left to cherish her memory are her mother; Brandy Sikes, her two brothers; Eli Griffin of Whiteville and Tanner Phillips of Chadbourn, her Uncle; Mark Allen Sikes of Whiteville, her Great Grandmothers; Margaret Sikes and Hilda Bare, both of Whiteville and her Aunts; Angela Martin, Pam Reynolds and Melinda Powell, both of Whiteville.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Hallsboro Church of God, Hallsboro, NC, with Rev. Danny Williams officiating.  Burial will follow at Byrd Cemetery, Whiteville, NC. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 13, 2022, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at McKenzie Mortuary, Whiteville, NC.
