Joann (Watson) Hinson

Whiteville: Mrs. Joann Watson Hinson , 81 of Whiteville died Thursday  April 30, 2020 at the Lower Cape Fear life Care Center in Whiteville. She was the daughter of the late Crance Howard Watson and Lela Beck Watson and was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick E. Hinson and a brother; C.H. Watson. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and was a member of the Southeastern Oratorio Choir. She worked as a legal secretary for over 30 years for various law firms.

Survivors include her son, Charles Devon Hinson (Brandie) of Whiteville, N.C.,  Brother, Larry Watson ( Gayle) of Clarendon, N.C. and a Granddaughter,  Lauren Raeanna Hinson Harsh (Sabian) of Morehead City, N.C.. 

A  Private Graveside Service will be Monday, May 4, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Darrin Moore officiating .
