Jerome Franklin Bullard Jr.

Jerome Franklin "LJ" Bullard Jr. passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.  L.J. was born on October 22, 1982 to Jerome Franklin Bullard, Sr. and Gwendolyn Hill Bullard.  He is preceded in death by his grandfather; Carlos D. Bullard, Sr and uncle; Carlos D. Bullard, Jr.

L.J. worked in the power house at International Paper.  He loved studying God's Word, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife; Mary Evelyn Smith Bullard, his parents Jerome Franklin Bullard, Sr and Gwendolyn Hill Bullard, two daughters; Hannah Rose Willett and Alexis Faith Willett, a son; Charles Wyatt Willett all of Delco, a brother Wesley M. Bullard (Heather) also of Delco, nieces; Katelin Sessoms, Brooke Sessoms and Laikyn Bullard, nephews; Randall Sessoms and Slade Bullard and special young man; Jerome Beck.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at 3:00 pm at the Bridge of Life Church, 2220 Mercantile Dr., Leland, NC with Pastor Jerome F. Bullard, Sr and Pastor Wesley M. Bullard officiating.  Burial will be in the Carlos Bullard Cemetery, 2667 Water Tank Rd., Delco, NC.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:45 pm at the church prior to the service.
