Nashville,TN. : James Nathan Walker, 54 of Nashville formerly of Whiteville, N.C. died  Wednesday, June 12 ,2019 . He was the son of James Chancey  (Buddy) Walker and Elizabeth Mercer Byrd.  He was preceded in death by grand-parents; Juanita & W.A. Beasley  and  Lula Mae & Chancey Walker. ; Step-Sister; Sharon Sikes and father; Jerry Byrd .

Survivors include his mother; Elizabeth Mercer Byrd of Whiteville, N.C.; Father; James Chancey (Buddy) Walker of Chadbourn, N.C., son; Wesley Williams of Aiken, S.C. , daughter; Sally Williams of  Italy , step-sister; Pamela Reynolds of Whiteville, N.C. and a brother; Timothy Walker of Whiteville, N.C. ex-wife; Kimberly Speer of Dublin and Step-son;  JonMichael Penny of Bladenboro, N.C. , nephew; Brandon Walker (Jessie) of Whiteville, N.C. Several  Aunts & Uncles

Funeral Service will be Friday, June 21, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at McKenzie Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Danny Williams and Rev. Ray Elder officiating with burial following in the Walker Cemetery, Whiteville,N.C.

Visitation will be Thursday June 20,2019 at McKenzie Mortuary from 6-8 p.m.
