Hal Boyd Collins, age 84, of Whiteville, NC, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Columbus Regional Healthcare.  Hal was born in Aynor, SC on December 1, 1939 to the late Bernie D. Collins and Marie Register Collins.  In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers; Bernie Collins and Joe Collins.

Hal worked as Service Manager at Quality Ford for several years before opening up his own business; Collins' Auto Service.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife; Dalma Sellers Collins, son; Timothy Hal Collins (formerly of Whiteville) of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, daughter; Wendy Caroline Morgan (Todd) of Southerland, Va., step-daughters; Cathy B. Ward (Edward) and Rhonda Creech (Robert) both of Whiteville, step-son; Van Rogers (Amanda) of Whiteville, brother; Bobby Collins of Longs, SC, sister; Carolyn C. Tober of Villages, FL, 4 granddaughters, 9 grandsons and 13 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, April 15, 2024, at McKenzie Mortuary.  Burial will follow at the Pee Dee Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery, 3725 US-378, Conway, SC.  The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at McKenzie Mortuary.
