Gregory Shane Norris, age 32, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center.  Shane was born on January 3, 1992 in Columbus County to Greg and Tansy Norris.  He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother; Brenda Faye Norris and his maternal grandparents; Harvie and Barbara Anderson.

Left to cherish his memory in addition to his parents are his daughters; Gracie Michele Norris and Malorie Ann Nicole Norris both of Whiteville and his paternal grandfather; E.J. Norris also of Whiteville.

A graveside service will be held at Wright Cemetery, Tabor City, NC on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at 2:00 pm with Rev. Victor Crawford officiating.  The family will receive friends at McKenzie Mortuary on Monday, April 22, 2024, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
