Hallsboro: Gertrud Werle Sterner, 86 of Hallsboro died Monday, February, 12,2018 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center in Whiteville, N.C. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Anna Werle .
Survivors include her husband; Charles L. Sterner of the home. Daughters; Jacqueline Christine Mitchell of Chesterfield, Va. and Patricia Irene Sterner of Athens, Ga. 7 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren.
A Graveside service will be on Thursday, February 15,2018 at 2:00 p.m with Rev. Darryll Hester officiating at Flynn Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center @ 206 Warrior Trail ,Whiteville, N.C. 28472.
