Gerald Barnes Stone

Fair Bluff: Gerald Barnes Stone, 85 of Fair Bluff died Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at the Columbus Regional Healthcare in Whiteville . He was the son of the late Theodore Roosevelt Stone and Alieen Hardin  Stone and was preceded in death by sisters; Marjorie Stone and Nelle Stone Malcolm , brothers;  Howard Stone and David Stone.  Barnes was born in Robeson County.  He served in the U.S. Air Force and attended Fair Bluff Baptist Church.  He worked with Scott’s Plumbing  in Fair Bluff for many years   and later worked with  McArthur Supply in Chadbourn until he retired.
Survivors include his sister, Elsie Stone Smith of Darlington, S.C. and a brother, Douglas Stone of Lincolnton, N.C. Several  Nieces and Nephew  and Several Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews.
A graveside service will be Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the Barnesville Cemetery in Barnesville @ 3:00 pm with Rev. Todd Padgett officiating .
