Geneva M. (Dew) Perry

Geneva Mae Dew Perry, age 97, died Friday, January 17, 2020 at Premier Living Nursing Facility, Lake Waccamaw.  She was born on December 18, 1922 to the late Lonnie Jackson Dew and Bertha Barefoot Dew.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Clinton Perry, two brothers; Clayton Dew & Lonnie "J.B." Dew and a sister; Edna Dew Carter.

Geneva was a member at Honey Hill Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters; Irene Dowless McCraw (Wade) and Geraldine Dowless Fox (Artemus) both of Marion, NC., a sister; Gladys Dew Ward of Hallsboro, a brother; Junior Dew of Hallsboro, four grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, January 19, 2020 at McKenzie Mortuary Chapel at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Troy Little officiating.  Burial will follow in Pierce Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45 pm prior to the service.  Pallbearers will be: Thomas Earl Ward, Seth Ward, Charles Carter, Randy McCraw, Junior McCraw and Dan Strickland.
