Ellen Daughety Stephens

Ellen Daughety Stephens, age 91, of Riegelwood, NC, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, February 10, 2024.  Ellen was born in Kinston, NC on February 9, 1933 to the late Jesse McCullen Daughety and Effie Simpson Daughety.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Harold Kenneth Stephens.

She was a member of Riegelwood Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory are two sons; H. Kenneth Stephens II of Wilmington and Brent Stephens (Becky) of Bladenboro, a granddaughter; Nicole Stephens White (Christopher) of Clarkton, three grandsons; Scott Stephens of Bladenboro, Samuel Stephens of Wilmington and Carl Stephens of Wilmington, two great grandsons; Noah White and Ethan White both of Clarkton.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at the Riegelwood Baptist Church Cemetery, Riegelwood, NC with Rev. Charles Hester officiating. The family will receive friends at the residence from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm on Tuesday, February 13, 2024.
