Edward Ray Davis

Edward Ray Davis, age 72, of Whiteville, NC, died Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Premier Living, Lake Waccamaw, NC. Edward was born on October 8, 1948 to the late George Edward Davis and Estelle Walker Davis in Elizabeth City, NC.  In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a sister; Mary D. Soles and a brother; Jimmy Davis.

Mr. Davis worked as a millwright for Georgia Pacific.

He is survived by two daughters; Jessica Davis Edge and Heather Davis McQueen both of Whiteville, NC and two brothers; Van Davis and Alan Davis both of Whiteville, NC, and four grandchildren; Ashton Edge, Madalyn Edge, Gabriel McQueen and Noah McQueen.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at 11:00 am at the Walker Cemetery with Dr. Dave Heller officiating.
