Edmond Otis Wall

Edmond Wall of Whiteville, age 89, died Friday, September 25, 2020 at Southeastern General Medical in Lumberton, NC.  Mr. Wall was born on May 3, 1931 in Pitt County, NC to the late Thomas Glenn Wall and Rosa Lee Buck Wall. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a son; David Hayes Wall.

Mr. Wall was Navy Veteran and then served as a Probation Parole Officer.  He was a member at First Baptist Church, Whiteville.In 1961 he joined the Whiteville Rotary Club and served as its secretary for 41 years.

He is survived by his wife; Joanne Fowler Wall of Whiteville, a daughter; Amy Wall (Dennis Golmitz) of N. Myrtle Beach, SC, one brother; Thomas Gordon Wall of Morehead City, NC and one sister; Glennie Ruth Ross of Bridgeton, NC.

A graveside service will be held Monday, September 28, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Whiteville Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Fred Senter officiating.
