Eddie Kirk Harrelson, age 65, of Delco, NC, died Sunday evening at Bladen Healthcare, Elizabethtown, NC.  Eddie was born in Columbus County to the late Jesse William Harrelson and Elvia Mintz Harrelson on May 16, 1955.  In addition to his father, he is predeceased by his brother; Lawrence Harrelson. 

He was retired from International Paper.  He was a member of Prosper Baptist Church and a member of the Masons and Shriners.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Harrelson is survived by his fiance' Barbara Saunders of  Council, N.C. and a  son; James Kirk Harrelson of Winnabow, NC, two grandsons; Aidden Harrelson and Thomas Harrelson, two granddaughters; Taylor Harrelson and Andrea Harrelson, two brothers; Homer Harrelson of Tampa, Fla. and Coolidge Harrelson of Whiteville, NC, and two sisters; Joyce Peterson (D.J.) and Audrey H. Grice (Phil) both of Delco, NC.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at McKenzie Mortuary, Whiteville, from 6 pm to 8 pm.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2020, at Prosper Community Cemetery, Delco, NC at 11:00 am with Rev. Eddie Watts officiating.
