Doris Pope , 74, of Hallsboro, NC, died at her residence on Friday, July 23, 2021. Doris was born in Columbus County to the late Ernest Paul Anderson, Sr and Katie Barefoot. In addition to her parents, Doris was preceeded in death by her former husband, William Howard Pope and a brother Ernest Paul Anderson, Jr.
She was a homemaker and loved fishing and bingo.
Doris is survived by her daughter Sandra Dameron on Clarendon, NC; grandsons, Jason A. Hill of Southport, NC and Randall T. Hill of Clarendon, NC; a great-grandson, Carson J. Lynn of Whiteville, NC; sister Dorothy Delorme of Walterboro, SC. and two nephews; Grant Scott and Jeffery Scott both of Walterboro, SC.
No services will be held at this time.
