Doris (Sellers) Norris

Doris Sellers Norris, age 89, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2020.  She was born in Columbus County to the late Sims Sellers and Mae Coleman Sellers.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Earl G. Norris, two sisters; Alease Hammonds and Bonnie Spell, and one brother; Paul Sellers.

Doris worked several years in healthcare as a receptionist for Dr. Wyche and as a clerk in the Columbus County Health Department. She was a member at First Baptist Church, Whiteville.

She is survived by two sons; Earl Gray Norris, Jr. (special friend; Fran) and Richard Lynn Norris, both of Whiteville, grandsons; Cody Norris and Ethan Norris; and furry companion; Mitzi.

A Private Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2020 at 2 :00 p.m. at Whiteville Memorial Cemetery with Brad Moranz officiating.
