Obituary
Deborah Dianne Smith Gore, age 66, passed away at Columbus Regional Healthcare on Saturday, September 4, 2021. She was born in Columbus County on February 2, 1955, to the late Ralph Stephen Freidman and Mickey Ann Smith.
Deborah was a homemaker and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband; Charles Richard Grimes of Whiteville, two sons; Welsey Alan Gore and Ashley Stephen Gore (Kayla) both of Whiteville, a granddaughter; Anna Beatrice Gore also of Whiteville, and a special family dog; Zoe.
A graveside service will be held in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Rough & Ready Rd., Whiteville, at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, with Rev. Darrin Moore officiating.
Services entrusted to McKenzie Mortuary, 112 Jefferson St., Whiteville, NC 28472.
