Whiteville: Mrs. Clarie White McQueen ,66 of Whiteville died Tuesday, May 12,2020 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. She was the daughter of the late Clarie Dexter White and Mary Sadler White and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Merlin McQueen and a brother, Sandy White of Salisbury, N.C. . She was a member of Glory Tabernacle Church for over 26 years and worked with her husband at McQueen’s Nursery for over 22 years.  She loved her family and especially those grand babies. Making sure her family was happy and healthy made her happy. Her life revolved around those that she loved and she was loved by all who knew her. She knew anything you wanted to know about a plant and never hesitated to answer your plant questions.

Survivors include her sons, Robert Merlin “Bobby” McQueen, Jr. (Patches) of Tabor City, N.C. and Thomas Aaron McQueen (Heather) of Whiteville, N.C., Grandchildren, Gabriel , Noah, Addison and Tressie., Brothers, Phil White , Larry White (Beth) ,both of Wilmington, N.C. and  Beverly White (Mimi) of Whiteville, N.C. , Sisters , Nancy Pearsall of Riegelwood, N.C.,, Penny Lynn of Whiteville, N.C. , Marion  Mc Whorter of Huston, Texas, and Tammy Young (Charles) of Whiteville, N.C.

A Private Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at 2:00 p.m.  at Flynn Cemetery with Rev. Clark Whittington and Rev. John Beattie officiating.
