Charles Edwin Sikes

Whiteville: Charles Edwin Sikes, 57 of Whiteville died  Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at the New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. He is the son of Charles Eli Sikes and Margaret Stanley Sikes and was preceded in death by a brother; Michael Scott Sikes. He was owner/operator of  Coastal Excavating Co.

Survivors include his son; Mark Allan Sikes of Whiteville, N.C. daughter; Brandy Nichole Sikes of Whiteville, N.C.brother; Barry Sikes (Kim) of Piedmont, N.C. and a sister, Melinda Sikes Powell ( Greg ) of Whiteville, N.C.. two grandchildren; Kaydance and Eli. two nieces, Ashley Sikes and Meagan Sikes and one nephew Christopher Powell.

A Graveside Service will be Friday, June 28,2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Columbus Memorial Park with Dr. Dave Heller officiating. Visitation will be at the cemetery from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. prior to the Service.
