Boyd Moore, age 84, of Buckhead, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022, with his family by his side. Mr. Moore was born on September 12, 1937 in Bladen County to the late Willie Moore and Bessie Baldwin Moore.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife; Nellie Watson Moore and his son; Boyd Moore, Jr.

Mr. Moore worked as a carpenter supervisor for several years.  He loved to fish and hunt.

Left to cherish his memory are his Son; Joseph Boyd Moore of Bolton and his Daughter; Sabrina Moore (Ronald) of Sumpter, SC, 4 Grandchildren, two Great Grandchildren of the home and 10 Great-Great Grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Mt. Sinai Holiness Church, Buckhead, at 3:00 pm with  Rev. Mike Jacobs and Rev. Chris Webb officiating.  Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 2:45 pm prior to the service.
