Beverly Sue Harrell

Beverly Sue Harrell, age 66, entered her Heavenly home Sunday, August 15, 2021.

The world lost a beloved daughter, wife, mother, nana, sister and friend. 

She was born September 22, 1954 to the late Irvin Louis Hickman and Glenna Ruth Hickman.  She was the second of four children born into her childhood family.  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Malta Mae Pace; brother-in-law, David Herring; and brother-in-law, Eddy Morgan.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021, at 11:00 am, in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lake Waccamaw with the Rev. J. Allen Murray officiating.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 49 years, Rex Allen Harrell of the home; her mother, Ruth Hickman, of Hallsboro; three daughters, Jennifer Smith and husband, Linwood, of Whiteville, Susan Harrell of Lumberton, and Donna Burney and husband, David, of Kelly; eight grandchildren, Amanda Sykes (Andre), Andrew Todd, Mindy Hammond (Hunter), Ashley Pike, Jamie Pike, Brandon Todd, Kayla Todd, and Hunter Burney; bonus granddaugther, Brittany Hulon; six great grandchildren, Keegan, Ki, Ivy, Brantley, Skylar, and Ocean; siblings, Dianne Fowler, Betty Morgan, and Mary Long; many loving nieces and nephews; and was eagerly anticipating the birth of two more great grandchildren.

Sue was a God-fearing woman and wholeheartedly devoted to her family.
