Wilmington: Barbara Lynn Williamson Stophel, 70 of Wilmington died Saturday, November 21, 2020 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Aubrey Williamson and Ethel Edwards Williamson and was preceded in death by a sister, Patty Finberg. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Whiteville. She was a Registered Nurse for over 43 years where she worked with Davis Healthcare for 37 years.. Survivors include her husband, Michael Dixon Stophel of Wilmington, N.C. sons, Brent Stophel (Chandi) of Burgaw, N.C. and Michael Dixon Stophel , Jr.(Lisa) of Rocky Point, N.C. brothers, Tony Williamson ( Faye) of Whiteville, N.C. and Wayne Edwards (Karen) of Wilmington , N.C. Granddaughter, Dara Stophel and Grandson, Ronan Stophel, Grandson, Tyler Collins and a Granddaughter , McKenzie Collins , there are several Nieces and Nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021, at 11:00 am at Westminister Presbyterian Church, Whiteville, NC.
