Barbara Jean (Pope) Edwards

Hallsboro: Barbara Jean Pope Edwards, 69 of Hallsboro died Monday, April 23,2018 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center in Whiteville. She was the daughter of the late Edison Pope and Rhoda Bullard Pope and was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Leo Edwards and a grandson, Hunter Soles. She was a member of Hallsboro United Methodist Church. She worked with Georgia Pacific  as a office manager for over 27 years.
Survivors include  two sons, Scott Edwards ( Scarlet) of Raleigh, N.C. and Bradley Edwards (Denise) of Lake Waccamaw, N.C.   4  Grandchildren,  Chris Edwards, Eli Edwards, Tylor Edwards and Whitney Davis.  3  Great-Grandchildren, Tristen Davis, Riley Davis and Lilly Anne Windbourn.
A Graveside Service will be Thursday April  26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hillcrest Cemetery with Rev. Danny Williams officiating. Visitation will be from 1-2:00 pm at the Cemetery prior to the service.
Memorials  may be made to the  Columbus County Shriners Building Fund @ P.O. Box 2093 Whiteville, N.C. 28472.
