Austen Dietrich Davis, age 25, of Cumming, GA, passed away, August 17,2019 at his residence in Cumming, GA. He attended Milton High School and graduated from Faith Academy in Buford, GA. Austen served his country in the United States Marine Corps for 2 years in Cherry Point, NC.
After leaving the military, Austen found his life’s passion in the construction industry and had just completed his first year in the Plumbing Apprenticeship program at Sluss + Padgett in Norcross, GA, where was excelling and was viewed as a promising and talented employee. He was well loved by his work family. Outside of work, Austen loved outdoor sports of every kind, the ocean, the beach, caring for and spending time with his cherished (but mischievous) dog, Dallas, and hanging out with his numerous friends from whom he had encountered throughout his short life - all whom he loved deeply and called "brother"
Survivors include by his mother and stepfather, Mary and Greg Destiche of Milton GA; father and stepmother Dean and Kellie Davis of Lexington, NC; sister Nicole Davis Beeson of Denton, NC; stepsister Lindsey Destiche of Cumming GA; stepbrother Jordan Destiche of Atlanta, GA.; aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive Austen.
The family will have a graveside Celebration of life on Saturday October 26, 2019 at 1:30pm @ Hillcrest Cemetery in Lake Waccamaw, NC. Please dress in casual attire.
