Obituary
Annie Lee Edwards Rich, age 97, of Lake Waccamaw, NC, passed away peacefully at Liberty Commons of Whiteville, NC. Annie was born in Robeson County on November 4, 1925 to the late Roscoe Edwards and Katie Bass Edwards. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband; Luther C. Rich, Jr.
Annie was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Delco.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter; Wendy R. Blake (Rex) of Lake Waccamaw, NC, a son; David C. Rich, and grandchildren; Zachary Blake, Nicolas Blake and David Michael Rich.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at 2:00 pm in Greenlawn Cemetery, 1311 Shipyard Blvd., Wilmington, NC, with Rev. Wallyce Todd officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either Ramps & Rails, PO Box 86, Hallsboro, NC 28442 or Lake Waccamaw Methodist Church, 506 Lakeshore Dr., Lake Waccamaw, NC 28450.
McKenzie Mortuary, 112 Jefferson Street, Whiteville, NC is serving the Annie Rich family.
