Alene Smith Price

Alene Smith Price, age 95, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022, at her residence.  Alene was born on September 21, 1926 in Columbus County to the late John Ander Smith and Alice Tedder Smith.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband; Elwood Price and Son in law; Owens Ward.

Alene is survived by her daughter; Carolyn Price Ward and her son; James Price (Frances) both of Whiteville, 5 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at 10:30 am in Flynn Cemetery, Whiteville, with Rev. Ray Cartrette officiating.
