Aaron Franklin Hester
Obituary
Aaron Hester, age 53, of Whiteville, passed away at his residence on Friday, February 17, 2023. Aaron was born on August 20, 1969 in Bladen County to the late Robert Dewey Hester and Sondra Kay Hester.
Aaron was the manager of the 701 Car Wash in Whiteville. He worked with the Whiteville City Fire Department as well as the Brunswick Volunteer Fire Department. Aaron also worked at one time with the City of Whiteville as an Animal Control Officer. He was a collector of all sorts of memorabilia especially items dealing with the Army.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter; Brittany Phelps of Chadbourn, his three sons; William, James and Aaron R. Hester all of Whiteville, his grandson; Sidney Phelps, and his sister; Amy Hester also of Whiteville.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Whiteville Church of Christ, 88 Larilin Drive, Whiteville, NC, with Rev. Philip Norwood officiating.
