Robert Gerald Porter

Clarkton: Robert Gerald Porter, 74 of Clarkton died Saturday, December 15,2018 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center in Whiteville. He was the son of the late John Horace Porter, Sr. and Esther Wabberson Porter  and was preceded death  by a brother, John Horace Porter, Jr. He was a member of the White Plains Presbyterian Church. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corp. in Vietnam from 64- 65. He worker with Corning , Inc. for over 15 Years.

Survivors include his sister, Linda P. King of  Tar Hill, N.C., several cousins and three nieces.

A Graveside Service will be Tuesday, December 18,2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the White Plains Presbyterian Church  Cemetery.
