Ricky Lynn Edge

Ricky Lynn Edge, age 63, died Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice, Whiteville.  Ricky was the son of the late Linwood & Martha Edge.

He was the owner/operator of Edge Grain & Trucking of Whiteville.  Ricky was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, Whiteville.  He was predeceased by his parents and a sister; Terrie Gray.

Ricky is survived by his wife; Becky Hammond Edge of Whiteville, a son; Daniel L. Edge (Jessica) of Whiteville, a daughter; Amanda E. White (Andrew) of Whiteville, Grandchildren; Ashton Edge, Madalyn Edge, Grayson Canady, Gage Canady, Lydia White, Alex White, mother in law; Lena Hammond, sister in law; Cindy Hammond (Reese), brother-in-law; Kenny Hammond (Cindy) ,sister; Diana Jones of Ocean Isle Beach.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, June 30, 2019, at New Hope Baptist Church, Whiteville, at 3:00 pm.  The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall from 2:00-2:45 pm prior to the service.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.
