Martha was a completely devoted Christian, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, which was unquestionably her favorite calling, Sister, Aunt and friend.  Martha had an unmatched ability to laugh at all this life had to offer.  The good and the not so good.  Martha never had a bad word to speak about anyone.  She was the first to laugh at her own shortcomings and at the same time would offer her love and support no matter what situation you found yourself in.  Martha, with joy and of course laughter, would like you to know her job here is done.  She received a call to be with those who have gone on before and is happily rejoicing with family and friends.  A special thank you to everyone at LCFH Care Center in Whiteville NC.  Your kindness and compassion during Marthas last days will not be forgotten.  Family and friends will meet at McKenzie Funeral Home in Whiteville NC at 12:30pm – 1:30pm for visitation with services following on Wednesday at 1:30pm on January 16, 2019.  Dinner for the family will be hosted by Riegelwood Baptist Church immediately following.  Martha will be interned at Trexler Cemetery in Allentown PA at a later date.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice Care Center in Whiteville NC.
