Margaret (Hayes) Watts

Margaret Hayes Watts, 83 of Whiteville died Monday, July 29, 2019 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center in Whiteville. She was the daughter of the late Soloman Hayes and Eula Worley and was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Daniel Watts and daughter, Sharon Watts Sellers; brothers, Bill Hayes, Jerry Hayes and Buddy Hayes. She was a member of Cypress Branch Pentecostal Church. She worked at the Stone Manufacturing Company in the cutting department for many years.

 Survivors include daughter, Debbie W. Batten (Donnie) of Whiteville; son, Chris Watts (Vicky) of  Clarendon, NC; sisters, Nancy Hall of Lexington, Betty H. Milan of Lexington, NC, Mary Lee Blyth of Winston Salem, and Jackie Shelley of Lexington, NC. ; 9 grandchildren,10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

A Funeral Service will be Thursday August 1, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Cypress Branch Pentecostal Church, Fair Bluff, N.C.  with Rev. Perry Cribb and  Jason Jordan officiating. Visitation will be from 1-1:45pm prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Powell Cemetery, Fair Bluff, N.C.
