Lawrence Eugene "Larry " Arp, Sr.

Whiteville:  Lawrence Eugene "Larry " Arp, Sr. 73 of Whiteville died  Friday, November 29,2019 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center in Whiteville. He was the son of the late  Richard Crowell Arp, Sr. and Bonnie Ruth Duncan and was preceded in death by his wife; Norma Williams Arp ,  brother, Richard Crowell Arp, Jr. and a sister, Linda Arp Dew. He was a heavy equipment operator in highway construction and a former farmer. He attended Trinity Baptist Church.

Survivors include his sons, Lawrence Eugene " Buddy" Arp, Jr. of Whiteville, N.C. and Timothy Jessie 'Timmy" (Ava) Arp of Clarkton, N.C.,Half-sister, Betty Ann Moss of Whiteville, N.C., 6 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be Sunday, December 1 ,2019 at  2:30 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Speight officiating . Burial will follow at Whiteville Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday at McKenzie Mortuary from 6-8 p.m..
