Miss Katelyn Lea Barnes, 18 of Whiteville passed away on Tuesday, Dec.18, 2018.
She is survived by her mother, Melissa Barnes and fiancé Curtis Strickland; her father, Jonathan Barnes and wife Helena Barnes; her brothers, Christopher Jernigan and Andrew Herring; her maternal grandparents, Johnny and Linda Miller; her paternal grandmother, Priscilla Barnes, and a host of friends.
Katelyn was preceded in death by her brother, Nicholos Barnes.
The family will receive friends at the McKenzie Mortuary of 112 Jefferson St, Whiteville, on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 7-9pm and funeral services will be held at McKenzie Mortuary on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 2:30pm.
