James Aaron Long

James Aaron Long, 79, of Whiteville, died Thursday, June 6, 2019 at North Chase Nursing and Rehab in Wilmington, NC. Mr. Long was born in Whiteville, NC and worked in construction and farmed most of his life.He was the son of the late John Leamon Long and Virginia Ward of Whiteville, NC.  He was also preceded in death by his step mother, Minnie Long and grandson, Jamie Dale White.

Survivors include daughters, Sherry Lynn Britt of Bladenboro, NC, Gerry Lee Long White (Jerry) of Wilmington, NC, Jeannie Sue Gore of Whiteville, NC; grandsons, Brandon Williams and Tristan Britt, both of Bladenboro, NC, Jacob Daniel White, Cameron Gore, both of Whiteville, NC; granddaughter, Cheyenne Gore of Whiteville, NC.

A memorial Service will be at McKenzie Mortuary Chapel on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 11am. Visitation will be 10-10:45am prior to service. Rev. Ronnie Wilson will be officiating. Services provided by McKenzie Mortuary.
