Edward Carlyle Anderson

Whiteville : Edward Carlyle Anderson, age 64, died Sunday ,July 21, 2019  at his residence.  He was born on October 1, 1954 to the late Joseph Fate Anderson and Essie Marie Housand Anderson.  In addition to his parents he was preceding in death by his brother; Horace Anderson

Mr. Anderson was disabled in recent years but had been employed by Georgia Pacific and had also worked in Septic Tank Servicing.  He was a member at Antioch Baptist Church.  He loved his family.  Edward also loved taking food to people and rebuilding classic cars.

Edward is survived by his wife; Debra Bullard Anderson, a daugther; Erica Anderson Melton (Adam) of Pittsboro, NC, Sisters; Hilda Holland (Ted) of Indian Land, SC, Marie Holden of Tabor City, Delores Jones (V.J.) of Indian Land, SC, brothers Harvie Anderson of Whiteville, Larry Anderson (Jean) also of Whiteville & Charles Anderson (Kathy) of King, NC, grandchildren; Lucas Melton, Carter Melton & Olivia Melton.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 26, 2019, at 11:00 am at McKenzie Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Chris Hardee officiating.  Burial will be in Flynn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 10:45 am prior to the service.
