Billy Layton Gause

Whiteville: Billy Layton Gause, 83 of  Whiteville died Tuesday, February 13,2018   at Liberty Commons Nursing Facility in Wilmington. He was the son of the late Willie Gordon” Bill” Gause and Lillie Mae Inman Gause and was preceded in death by a sister; Reba Tyson . He attended Western Prong Baptist Church and worked with Inman Septic Tank  Service for over 20 years.
Survivors include his wife; Flossie Ellis Gause of Whiteville, N.C. daughters; Theresa Gail  Rouse  ( Michael )of Wilmington, N.C. and Beverly Ann Smith of Mooresville, N.C. one sister; Diane Gause Stubbs of Whiteville, N.C. Two Grandchildren; Audry  Gail Gardner (Christopher) of Mooresville,N.C. and Robert Michael  Rouse  of Wilmington, N.C.  Four Great-Grandchildren, One Great-Great-Grandchild and many Nieces and Nephews.
A Graveside Service will be Friday, February  16,2018 at 2 p.m. at New Britton Baptist Church Cemetery, Ash, N.C. with Dr. Tommy Bryson , Jr. officiating. Following the service the family will meet at his sisters home.
