Betty Josephine (Evans) Hayes

Betty Josephine Evans Hayes, 80 of Whiteville, NC.  died Monday December 16, 2019 at Columbus Regional Health Care Systems. She was the daughter of the late Early Evans and Ruby Long. She was preceded in death by her two sons John Paul Hayes and Allen George Hayes. She was a member of Palmyra Baptist Church of Old Dock, NC and worked for The Blue Jean Corporation for over 15 years.

Survivors include her husband Herman Hayes Jr. of Whiteville, NC.; daughter, Patricia Hayes Blackmon (Joel) of Whiteville, NC; Son, Christopher Lee Hayes of Whiteville, NC; granddaughter, Heather Wagner (Robert); grandsons, Waylon Hayes (Dawn), Jessie Hayes (Alexia), Justin Hayes (Lindsey), Jarrett Blackmon, Kyle Blackmon (Brittany); Great- Grandchildren, Kinsley Hayes, Brody Wagner, Logan Hayes, Emma Hayes, Rhett Blackmon, and Stormy Blackmon.

Funeral Service will be Friday December 20, 2019 at 2pm @ Palmyra Baptist Church with visitation prior to the service from 1pm-1:45pm. Burial following at Palmyra Baptist Church Cemetery.
