Ava Lynne Hamilton Ward

Ava Lynne Hamilton Ward, 54 of Chadbourn died Thursday, July 18, 2019 .She was the daughter of the late Jimmy Lionel (J.L.) Hamilton and Carolyn Sealey. She worked as a Magistrate for the Columbus County Sheriff Department for over 17 years and was a member of Chadbourn Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her husband, Tucker “Mack” McMillian Ward of Chadbourn, NC.; sons, Aaron Hamilton Marlowe of Whiteville, NC. and Philip Hunter Marlowe of Whiteville, NC.; Grandson, Axel Graydon Marlowe of Whiteville, NC; granddaughter, Aubree Grace Hines of Whiteville, NC; Brothers, Perry Hamilton of Fair Bluff, NC. and Rickie Lionel Hamilton of Tabor City, NC.; sister, Deidre Callahan of Fairmont, NC.

A Celebration of life service will be at Chadbourn Presbyterian Church on Monday, July 22, 2019 at 3pm with Dr. Timothy Verhey officiating. Visitation is from 2:00pm- 2:45pm at the Chadbourn Presbyterian Church Prior to the service.

In Lieu of Flower memorials made be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice at 206 Warrior Trail, Whiteville, NC 28472.   

The family will receive friends at the Hamilton residence @ 11621 Andrew Jackson Hwy. , Fair Bluff, N.C. on Saturday & Sunday night from 4-8 p.m..
