Whiteville: Allen George Hayes, 42 of the Old Dock Community died Monday, August 20, 2018  . He is the son of Herman Hayes, Jr. and Betty Joe Evans Hayes. He was preceded in death by a brother, John Paul Hayes. He was an electrician by trade and was a member of Palmyra Baptist Church .He is survived by his parents; Herman Hayes, Jr. and Betty Joe Evans  Hayes of Whiteville, N.C.,,brother,  Christopher Lee Hayes of Whiteville, N.C. and sister, Patricia Hayes Blackmon (Joel) of  Whiteville, N.C., Nephews, Jarrett Blackmon  of Whiteville, N.C., Kyle Blackmon  (Brittany Blackmon) of  Galivants Ferry, S.C. , Justin  ( Lindsey) Hayes  of Whiteville, N.C., Waylon Hayes (Dawn) of Whiteville, N.C. and  Jessie Hayes (Alexis) of Whiteville, N.C.  one Niece, Heather  Hayes (Robert Wagner ) of Whiteville, N.C.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Great-Nephews , Logan Hayes of Whiteville, N.C. , Brody Mabe of  White Oak, N.C. and Rhett  Layne Blackmon  of Whiteville, N.C., Great-Niece, Emma Hayes of Whiteville, N.C

Funeral Service will be Friday, August 31, 2018   at 2:00 p.m. at Palmyra Baptist Church with Rev. John Robertson and Rev. Wayne Faulk officiating with burial following in the Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday 08/30/2018 at McKenzie Mortuary from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
