Acie Hubert Croom, Jr..

Acie Hubert Croom, Jr. died at his residence on Friday, August 30, 2019.  He was born in Newport News, Va. on September 7, 1943 to Acie Hubert Croom, Sr. and Eula Crisp Croom.  In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his wife; Alice Nobles Croom and his brothers; James Hardie Croom and Vernon Lee Croom.

Mr. Croom worked at Allied Chemical for 50 years and also was self employed as an accountant.

He is survived by his son; Richard Dean Croom (Carolyn) of Delco, NC, a daughter; Rita C. Rempel (David) of Louisburg, NC, one sister; Brenda C. Blackwell of Jackson, Ala., a brother; Ronald Dean Croom of Purvis, Miss., and one granddaughter; Phenix Croom Baldwin of Oklahoma City, OK.

A funeral service will be held Monday, September 2, 2019 at Livingston Chapel Baptist Church, Delco, NC at 2:00 pm officiated by Rev. Matthew Griffin.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 1:45 pm prior to the service.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.
