WHITEVILLE - James Charles “Charlie” Hall, 60, went home to his Lord Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017, at his residence.

He was the son of the late James D. Hall and Sarah “Peaches” Hall.

He was a graduate of Clarkton High School and Pembroke State University.

Visitation will be at McKenzie Mortuary from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3. A celebration of life service will be held at First Baptist Church in Whiteville on Saturday, Nov. 4 at 11 a.m. Following the service, burial will be at Whiteville Memorial Cemetery.

In addition to his wife, Jennifer Burleson Hall, he is survived by his daughter, Deidre Marie Hall, his sister, Sandra Cornatzer (Gid), nieces and a nephew.

I don't think we ever met or if we did it was only briefly. I am traveling and will be out of town during the visitation and services. I truly regret not being able to attend.

Charlie and I grew up together and went to grammar school and high school together. I spent a lot of time with Charlie and his mom and dad when we were growing up. What great people! We had a lot of Memorable
times together.

I just wanted to let you know that I am sorry for your family's loss and my thoughts and prayers are with you all as you go through these difficult times. God Bless Charlie! I hope you can rest easy knowing he is in a better place!
